A fourth-generational home remedy herbalist from Louisiana, Kristy Cormier, grew a passion to follow in her grandmother and mother’s footsteps. At a young age, Kristy studied her grandmother and mother as they expertly combined herbs and invented remedies for diverse ailments and effective balms for skincare issues. Her family’s creole roots allowed them to invent and pass down recipes that were revolutionary in preventive and curable health care.

After graduating from Virginia State University with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Kristy relocated to the Washington, DC area, where she resolved to journey deeper into her roots and change her holistic wellness lifestyle. Kristy has contributed immensely to apothecaries with holistic wellness services, attended holistic workshops, and obtained certifications as a herbalist and holistic nutritionist.
